Post Re: The Julian Assange Show
Julian Assange has been dragged out of the Ecuadorian embassy and arrested by UK agents. I opted to read a New York Times piece on this news, to get their spin on it, since they are a CIA propaganda mouthpiece. I got what I expected -- official U.S. propaganda.

I don’t say that out of any sympathy for Assange, an odious person who initially sought refuge in the embassy to dodge charges stemming from an alleged sexual assault in Sweden. In the 2016 election, Assange acted as a conduit for Russian intelligence services that had hacked emails from top Democrats. He helped spread the conspiracy theory that the leaked Democratic emails were actually released by Seth Rich, who worked for the Democratic National Committee and who was murdered in 2016. Surely Assange knew this wasn’t true. There is ample evidence of his misogyny and anti-Semitism. He might be known as an information anarchist, but by helping Trump become president, he became a handmaiden to authoritarianism.

So Assange may well deserve to go to prison.

So we already know the U.S. government hates Assange for revealing its dirty secrets. There was some kind of secret deal made with the latest president of Ecuador to grab Assange after Ecuador granted him political asylum for some seven years prior. It's disgusting to see the NY Times falsely malign Assange, and I am especially disgusted to see the odious author, Michelle Goldberg (Jewish?), accuse him of "misogyny and anti-Semitism". The list of charges presented against Assange in the quote have all been shown to be bogus by now, so using them to condemn Assange is truly a dirty tactic, typical of sociopaths.

Post Re: The Julian Assange Show
In cahoots with the US and UK, Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno unjustifiably seeks justification to rescind Assange’s asylum, wanting him expelled from the country’s London embassy and handed over to British authorities – ignoring international law and his rights as an Ecuadorian citizen.

Expulsion assures extradition to the US to face unjust prosecution and harsh detention, amounting to prohibited cruel and unreasonable treatment, similar to how Chelsea Manning was and continues to be tortured in solitary confinement – since early March for invoking her constitutional rights, ignored by a sentencing federal district court judge.

Assange, Manning, Edward Snowden, and other courageous whistleblowers are targeted by the US for the crime of truth-telling – in Assange’s case, for journalism the way it’s supposed to be.

Who would have believed 50 years ago that such criminality would become mainstream in the U.S. government, that whistle-blowers uncovering government crimes would be persecuted in violation of their Constitutional and human rights! Yet here it is, in-your-face, a government of the criminals, by the criminals, and for the criminals. Or make that of, by, and for the sociopaths — it's the same thing.

Everyone in the U.S. involved in this scheme to punish Assange should be arrested, jailed, and charged with treason. If we had a real legal system, that would happen. But we don't, so it won't.

I am so ashamed to be an American. I am sickened by the system of deception and manipulation that we have to endure. The material WikiLeaks has published in the past clearly reveals the extent of the criminality present in the U.S. government. It is rotten to the core. Julian Assange is a hero, Chelsea (Bradley) Manning is a patriot, and the U.S. government is a cesspool.

The Iranians were right, the U.S. government is The Great Satan.

Post Re: The Julian Assange Show
Quote:
Correa spoke to RT Spanish to explain why he publicly branded Moreno the "greatest traitor in Ecuadorian history." The former president says his successor is no better than the disciple Judas Iscariot or Ephialtes of Trachis, the man accused of betraying Greek forces defending the pass of Thermopylae from invading Persians.

"It was not Rafael Correa, who gave asylum to Julian Assange. It was the state of Ecuador. And the state of Ecuador had to protect the person it pledged to protect according to international law and its national pride. Instead they gave him up, allowed the British police to enter our embassy," he said.

He added that the move also violated the constitution of Ecuador, since Assange is now a citizen of the Latin American country and is owed protection accordingly. "This is unheard of. These actions cannot leave one not outraged," he said.

Correa said Moreno basically sold "Assange's head" to the Americans. The US wants to prosecute Assange for allegedly conspiring with former US Army soldier Chelsea Manning in her leaking of classified US documents to WikiLeaks.
Revenge for allegedly publishing documents incriminating Moreno

Moreno's decision was partially motivated by various benefits Ecuador and the president personally got in return, Correa believes. But another motive was revenge on WikiLeaks, he told RT. Moreno believes that the site was responsible for publication of explosive documents, which implicate him and his family members in corruption. -- source

Correa has proven his integrity to me over time, as a forum search for my posts concerning Correa will confirm. Moreno is scum, selling favors to the United States government for the equivalent of 13 pieces of silver. Evil is alive and well in our world today, embodied by scheming sociopaths who pretend to be saints. It's revolting.

Renegade internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom has condemned the arrest of Julian Assange as a modern-day “inquisition,” and said the WikiLeaks founder’s “persecution and arrest” will make him “a hero for the ages.”

“Witch hunts, book burnings and the Inquisition are back,” Dotcom tweeted on Thursday, hours after Assange was hauled out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London by British police.

“The persecution and arrest of Julian Assange for publishing the truth returns us to the darkest times in human history,” the internet icon continued. “This attempt to keep us from the truth will turn Julian Assange into a hero for the ages.” -- source

Kim Dotcom speaks from experience:

Quote:
Dotcom’s own activities have brought the weight of the US government down on him before. As founder of the now-defunct file-hosting service Megaupload, the German-born entrepreneur is still locked into an extradition battle with Washington. He is currently in New Zealand, and has claimed that US authorities are pursuing a vendetta against him on behalf of politically-influential Hollywood studios. -- source

Anyone who today speaks the truth is going to get hammered. Truth has no place in a world led by sociopaths. It will be exterminated, if sociopaths can have their way. And who is going to prevent them from having their way?

Only a united people can do that.

WikiLeaks founder and Australian whistleblower Julian Assange has exposed the crimes of the US and other Western nations and now a crime has been committed against him by his arrest, says veteran British politician and broadcaster George Galloway.

“I'm very shocked...Julian Assange is a friend of mine, more importantly, a friend of truth, a friend of the people,” Galloway told Russia’s RT news organization.

“He exposed great, great crimes and now another great crime has been committed against him,” Galloway added.

He said the US is “increasingly, belligerently and aggressively confronting people and states around the world - this is another big aggression.” -- source

George Galloway is another great man of integrity who laments the triumph of evil in this world against the integrity of truth-tellers like Assange. It is abhorrent that the ruling sociopaths have reached this level of immunity from prosecution in this corrupted world that they can persecute and torture an innocent man whose crime is nothing more than telling the truth.

Something evil this way came, and now it dwells among us. What will we do about it? Nothing?

Assange’s mother also reacted furiously to the arrest, calling Ecuadorian President Lenín Moreno a “dirty, deceitful, rotten traitor” who allowed the UK to nab his son after withdrawing his asylum status in the embassy. -- source

What are the chances that Assange's mother is a woman of integrity?

My bet is that the chances are high. I suspect she is in good company with Lendman, Correa, and Galloway. People of integrity will naturally speak out in opposition to evil. Will you?

Pamela Anderson on Assange's arrest:

I am in shock.. I couldn’t hear clearly what he said? He looks very bad. How could you Equador ? (Because he exposed you). How could you UK. ? Of course - you are America’s bitch and you need a diversion from your idiotic Brexit bullshit.

Well, I am impressed by Pamela Anderson. Hollywood stars rarely have much integrity. She can't spell "Ecuador", but her heart is true. Kudos to her from me, for whatever that is worth. I know, it's not worth anything, for I am a nobody. But a nobody is more likely to have integrity than a somebody. To become a somebody, you must often sacrifice your integrity. I refused to play that game, and I am happy with my choice.

Does this mean we judge a book by its cover? Apparently!

Julian Assange is a pioneering whistleblower in the digital-age, speaking truth to power like no one before him managed on such a significant scale. As he sits in a London jail cell, here’s why we should be grateful for his work.

By setting up the international non-profit organization WikiLeaks in Iceland in 2006, Assange irrevocably shifted the balance of power in the online era.

From humble beginnings as a master coder and hacker, caught by Australian authorities in 1995 but escaping a prison term, to the foremost publisher of sensitive, embarrassing and potentially dangerous material for the world to see, Assange's storied career as a publisher and whistleblower has captured headlines, and the global public's attention for years. -- source

He's one of the biggest heroes of the digital age. He is one of the best "good guys" of the last century. He is one of the biggest threats the ruling sociopaths have faced in the last ten years. He is the most significant wake-up call since 9/11. And the forces of evil want him neutralized.

And the forces of good? What do they want? They had better do something, or the battle of good versus evil will soon be over. What they do to Julian Assange, they do to us.

Either way, this (Assange's arrest) is a cataclysmic threat to press freedoms, and the time to act is now. The US government’s arbitrarily gifting itself the right to use fraudulent distortions to imprison anyone in the world who publishes facts about it will chill any attempts to do so in the future, and poses a far greater threat to press freedoms than anything we’ve seen in our lives. Anyone who sits idly by while this happens is signing over the sovereign right of every human being on this planet to hold power to account, and anyone calling themselves a journalist who does anything other than unequivocally oppose this move is confessing that they are a state propagandist. This is an intolerable plunge toward Orwellian dystopia, and is an assault on human dignity itself. -- source

That is no exaggeration. Assange has done nothing wrong. He has, in fact, done what is right. The forces of evil opposing Assange are doing what evil always does — destroying what is good.

Facebook is scum too:

Quote:
The removal of Correa’s page for violating Facebook’s “community standards” is an unprecedented move, and the former statesman is the most high-profile public political figure to ever be removed from the social platform – placing the economist and icon of Latin American “socialism of the 21st century” in the same unlikely category as right-wing conspiracy theorist and broadcaster Alex Jones. -- source

Yes, Correa is censored by Facebook! As I stated, Correa has integrity. Facebook obviously does not.
