Post Shut Up and Dance.
This one is for Lily: I want to learn the Tango!

Maria's moves are much more subtle in this number, but this woman is sooooo good.

Hi Mouse,

OK, I'll shut up and dance.

Don't want the mouse with teeth chasing me down the rabbit hole, nibbling at my nethers, gaah! LOL!

I have a friend who's 83. She danced with Martha Graham. She's one of the most interesting people I know.
She still dances Tango and Salsa. Very sexy. I love the self expression, movement and energy of dance. I love to dance.

Traditional dance preserving the culture of various regions have deep roots, and deep energy.

Thanks Oh Yeah, great clip!

Here's a short one, taken from the Oz film, 'Strictly Ballroom'. The two dancers are attempting the Pasodoble, when the elder steps in and shows how it's done.

(Love the concrete dust flying off his boots...)

Thanks Mouse, enjoyed that one, yes a lot more subtle but very powerful. Sometimes Less is more.

Hi Oh Yeah!,

Talking about traditional dancing, the photo is of the Morris group I used to dance with when I was younger, Green Oak Morris. Memories!

I'm on the front row, second from the left looking to the side:

The photo is not of 1983, but of 1977. :) Me front left, by the way.

A little bit about the history of Morris dancing:

Best regards.

Hi Oh Yeah!,

Many thanks for the Youtube thingy, I've never seen that before. It brought back so many memories of the things we used to get up to when I was there. When I hear the music I melt.

Back then, I think I was 17 or 18 years old I was somewhat of a rutting stag and there was no suprise that my hand was on my hoo ha (or rather in them days it was more like a hoo heeney). Not so much these days, I'm a lot calmer.

Best regards.

Great energy and attitude. I like to notice the posture, the eyes, the hands.........besides the feet.
Soulful.
