Post subject: | The Deal | |||||||||
(Originally posted February 8, 2008 on MySpace) Background The absolutely most boring subjects for the first half of my life were history, economics, and politics. I could only sit through one Economics 101 lecture in college before I literally raced on winged feet over to the Administration Building to transfer out of the class. In ignorant bliss, I sailed through 50 years of life, leaving the details of history, economics, and politics to my representatives in Washington. Almost everyone else around me did exactly the same, and that was a mistake of monumental proportions. Everything changed for me about two years ago, when my insatiable curiosity planted a simple question in my brain: "How is our money created and who decides how much to create?" I quickly discovered that there was no simple answer, but I was undeterred in my research, because something happened. The world of history, economics, and politics unfolded to me in all of its striking magnificence, like a dull worm that spins a silken refuge only to emerge as a startling butterfly. You see, "It's the economy, stupid." As that phrase is bandied about during the current political race for the presidency in 2008, its true significance is unknown to the vast majority of brainwashed Americans. It's all about the money - BIG money, in quantities that make its traditional meaning melt away to reveal its true identity - power. Without even knowing it, I had asked the right question. The answers I uncovered slowly chipped away at the deliberate blinders placed over my eyes by those who seek to control us all. The Deal One of the principle keys to our economic puzzle is The Deal. We are all the unwitting prisoners of The Deal, which has slowly drained our lifeblood to the point where we are little more than anorexic skin and bones. But we cannot cure ourselves until we know what ails us. Only the truth can set us free. And that, my friends, is the truth of The Deal. In the late 60's, there was a serious domestic energy crisis - too much demand for oil, and too little supply - and some changes needed to be made to quiet the whining American public. But the real problem was a secret financial crisis in American government that threatened our very economic existence. Decades of foolish money management by the government had drained our once-mighty wealth. Massive trade deficits (buying lots of goods from nations overseas while selling them very little) had bankrupted the government. Even worse, our government regularly cheated, printing lots of new dollars in order to have money to spend. The U.S. government had always promised the world that it would exchange those dollars for gold on demand, and the crates of dollars being shipped to our door by those overseas nations was becoming a flood. Gold was flowing out of Fort Knox at a frightening rate. It was clear that the American government had printed way too much money, that there wasn't enough gold to exchange for all those dollars coming in from overseas, and that the jig was up. The U.S. government was caught with its pants down around its knees and was about to fall face-first into the mud. It was scared silly, so a desperate plan was hatched. First, the government broke its long-standing promise to redeem its dollars in gold. President Nixon took us off the gold standard in 1971, and all nations of the world were forced to follow suit. All currencies became floating, fiat currencies, backed by absolutely nothing but "good faith". Given the good faith that the U.S. government had just shown the nations of the world by breaking its promise, it is astounding that this event was so easily accepted. Evidently, faced with the nightmare of a bankrupt America, the world felt it had no choice. More likely, the central bankers of the world all saw the same opportunity to swindle the ignorant masses and further enrich themselves. But there was a second, critical piece to the desperate plan. The energy crisis and the collapse of the gold standard had made it clear that oil was the new store of value, not gold. Henry Kissinger spent a lot of time talking with leaders of oil-producing nations around this time. A bargain was struck between the U.S. and the leaders of each oil-producing nation. In a nutshell, the agreed-upon terms were these:
Although it seems an insignificant concession, the requirement to sell oil for dollars and only dollars is extremely important. This saved the U.S. government from total bankruptcy, because it created a global dollar hegemony that would sustain America's economic survival for the decades to follow. The Federal Reserve and the U.S. government could now accelerate their addictive habit of printing paper dollars to fund their spending habits without losing all the gold remaining in Fort Knox. More importantly, foreign banks the world over would be forced to soak up those dollars like sponges to pay for their oil needs. We could now print dollars with even greater abandon than before, without suffering the crippling effects of massive hyperinflation and economic collapse, which has been the fate of all the other nations throughout history that ever tried to create wealth using a printing press. We could have our cake and eat it too, at least for a while. Every major oil-producing nation in the world accepted The Deal, except for two. Those two nations would become the focus of our foreign policy for decades to come. The three largest oil reserves known at the time were found respectively in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. Saudi Arabia happily agreed to the terms of the deal and became America's new best friend and major oil supplier. Iraq and Iran, however, were the two holdouts. In an attempt to get them to play ball, our covert agencies along with our visible government began a long campaign of "persuasion", using misinformation, threats, bribery, sanctions, assassination, and war. America clandestinely orchestrated the bloody war between Iraq and Iran, and we profited nicely from weapon sales to both countries, as did central bankers working through the U.S. and other countries. When that war failed to bring them around, America invaded Iraq, twice. These wars were also secretly orchestrated, first by President George Bush Sr., and later by his son George Bush Jr., who both have extensive personal dealings with the ultra-rich Saud family that continues to rule Saudi Arabia thanks to constant U.S. government support. We are still fighting in Iraq to this day, controlling their country at gunpoint, and the Bush administration actively continues to search for avenues to provoke a war with neighboring Iran. The Dilemma The twists and turns to this story continue seemingly without end. In the late 70's, the largest oil field on the planet was discovered under American soil in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Enormous wealth was ours for the taking, but there was a mind-numbing dilemma. We had made The Deal. It had saved our economic lives. But if we backed out of it, it could collapse not only the American economy, but the economy of the world. How could that be? The new economy was based on oil, not gold, and we now had more oil at our disposal than any country on Earth. But to use it meant we would have to renege on The Deal. We would stop buying oil from the Saudis and the other cooperating oil exporters and use our own oil. If we did that, they would no longer have any reason to continue selling oil in dollars, or to continue funding our debt. All those dollars sitting in foreign banks (over two thirds of all dollars ever created) would no longer be needed to buy oil, so they would come flooding back into the United States looking to buy something, ANYTHING, to give them some kind of value. Hyperinflation would explode, the dollar would collapse, and the average American would be broke. Printing more dollars, the government scam of choice for the last century, would no longer work. Dollars would be worthless paper, and pandemonium would reign. Hundreds of millions of angry Americans with empty bellies is a recipe for revolution. The U.S. government was scared out of its wits, so it did what any other cornered animal would do - fight for its life! The news of the discovery of the world's largest oil field under American soil was instantly classified as secret for reasons of national security before it could leak out. The well on Gull Island was capped and never developed. A concerted campaign of propaganda was unleashed to downplay the former anticipation of ending the energy crisis with new oil from Alaska. It became absolutely essential to maintain the energy crisis to keep The Deal alive. The world-wide dollar hegemony, the busy Treasury printing presses, the unrestrained monetary power of the Federal Reserve, and the excessive spending habits of the American government had to be maintained, if the U.S. government were to continue to survive in its traditional form (by now in appearance only). The house of cards our government had built for itself had to be propped up with ever more elaborate and deceptive layers, lest the whole thing collapse in an ugly mess. At the directive of the central bankers, our government had sold our soul to the Devil, but there would be no escaping the inevitable price of the short-term rewards they had bargained for. For how much longer can the economic collapse be kept at bay? For how long will the horrible truth be repressed? The Question Thomas Jefferson warned all Americans over 200 years ago that this could happen.
In 1913, private banks got control of the issuance of our money when the Federal Reserve was unconstitutionally created, the culmination of a concerted conspiracy of greed by the moneyed elite. They also established the income tax that same year to pay the debts they intended to inflict on us by lending the money they create to our government and charging interest. For nearly 100 years, the central bankers have profited at our expense by inflating our currency and stealing our wealth. And now, if we can even be shaken from our stupor, we will wake up to find ourselves impoverished on the continent that our forefathers conquered. In 1774, our ancestors stunned the world by revolting against the most powerful human force on the planet, the power of the mighty English empire. Years later, in 1783, our ancestors stunned the world again by winning. It took nine long years of war and suffering to throw off the chains of bondage. During that time, the country had been darkened by fear, and some of our best and bravest died, but in the end, a new country founded on freedom, equality, and justice was born. Two centuries later, we find we are once again in bondage, not to a country, but to an international cartel of moneymen. Once again, we face the most powerful human force on the planet. How will history record our time? Will the powers of oppression and control bury us, or will the desire for freedom once again find a home in our hearts? Will we dismantle the Federal Reserve and retake control of our money? Will we abolish the income tax and allow men and women to keep the rewards of their labor? Will we act? |

The article below made me think of the above blog I wrote five years ago.
A tsunami of unwanted dollars coming home to flood our economy? Hey, I predicted that five years ago! And unlike the quoted article, I explained exactly why it would happen. I hate it when I'm right. |

I hate it when you're right, also ... but you're right on this one, Chico. Excellent blog article. Pax ps: Now, if you would only stop supporting the banksters' stooges (e.g. Assange, Pilger, Fisk, etc.), then perhaps we can invite you back into the brotherhood of genuine truthseekers again. |

Welcome back, Zook!
I don't have the preponderance of evidence needed to identify those named individuals as bankster stooges. I'm always open to new evidence, however. Assange in particular must be getting tired of being holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy. You'd think those powerful banksters would cut him some slack, if Assange is a stooge. Don't they usually reward their stooges when they are happy with their service? They did that for Bush and Clinton. And if you don't cooperate with the banksters, they usually make your life miserable. Assange's life seems pretty miserable to me. The Swedish sex charges seem to be a set-up, the U.S. government wants him dead, and UK authorities can't wait to grab him. How do you explain that? |

If Julian Assange is the banksters' stooge, then I want more of them.

Here's the same story of the petrodollar that I blogged about so long ago, only this time we get Brother Nathanael's perspective. It would appear that word of the petrodollar scam is getting out. Naturally, this comes on the eve of the dollar's collapse, a bit too late to punish the guilty. Or maybe not! Kissinger is still alive, and so is George H. W. Bush, and a host of other conspirators in the plot to bleed the dollar. Heck, the primary weapon of the international banksters, the Federal Reserve, is still in business, when it should be in prison! I love the clip of Nixon announcing in 1971 his intention to "defend the dollar against the speculators." What a criminal liar! This was followed by the next big lie, that the U.S. would "suspend temporarily the convertibility of the dollar into gold." Temporarily, my ass! If only Nixon's nose grew a centimeter longer with each lie, we would have seen through his treachery, the same treachery all subsequent American presidents have practiced, including the current puppet-in-chief, Barry "Obama" Soetoro. Traitors every one! But we thought Nixon was an honorable man working in the best interests of all Americans. And we thought the same thing for each subsequent president. Those sociopaths sure know how to dupe the American public, don't they. |

I almost posted this under "How they fool us" or "Things they don't tell us", and it would certainly fit in either of those threads, but this topic is also a major part of "The Deal". Because important videos have a bad habit of disappearing from YouTube (Yes, Virginia, there is censorship), I am including a rough, abbreviated transcript of the video as well, so that the information does not get squelched. For much more info, search the Internet for "abiotic oil" or "abiogenic oil".
