Post Roundup in city-dwellers' urine
Studies have already found Monsanto's toxic herbicide Roundup in groundwater, in streams, and even in the rain and air of US agricultural areas. It's been found in our blood and even crosses the placental barrier to enter our unborn fetuses. So are we surprised that a German university study has now found significant concentrations of Roundup's main ingredient glyphosate in the urine of city dwellers?

Perhaps we should be surprised at the amount: all the samples had concentrations of glyphosate at 5 to 20 times the limit for drinking water.

Roundup is used on railway lines, urban pavements, and roadsides. It's used to dry down grain crops before harvest. But the single greatest use of Roundup is on genetically engineered "Roundup Ready" crops - designed not to die when sprayed with the poison.

Wouldn't it be good if we too were Roundup Ready, so we wouldn't get sick or die due to the virtually omnipresent toxin? After all, studies now link it to birth defects, endocrine disruption, cancer, and abnormal sperm.

As Roundup is a best-selling product worldwide and there are massive profits hanging on its continued use, the new testing initiative has fallen prey to the usual attempts at disinformation, distortion, and intimidation. Note the excerpt from the story: "The address of the university labs, which did the research, the data and the evaluation of the research method is known to the editors. Because of significant pressure by agrochemical representatives and the fear that the work of the lab could be influenced, the complete analytical data will only be published in the course of this year." First, there was lead paint, leaded gasoline, factory emissions, nuclear weapons testing, and engine exhaust. Then fluoridated water, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, artificial sweeteners, EMF pollution, chemtrails, depleted uranium micro-particles, and radiation from out-of-control nuclear plant meltdowns. Now, nearly all food production has been converted to GMO crops, and the tell-tale chemicals of GMO products are in nearly everyone's urine.

Would it be possible to be poisoned in more ways if someone really were trying to kill us?

Adverse effects in pigs fed GM corn "disappear"

They're at it again - hoping that no one actually reads their GMO studies, just the fanciful headlines and press releases. If someone does read about a short-term (31-day) study with pigs fed Monsanto's Bt corn, they would have seen for themselves that they had intestinal changes, heavier kidneys, and gained less weight per pound of feed consumed - oops! The authors admit right in the summary abstract that these differences deserve a follow up for further clarification. [Read more...] (link now seems to be broken, will try to find alternative)

But if you were like most people who let headlines tell you what studies reported, you would get a totally different version. The story title in Science Daily boldly proclaimed: "Genetically modified food safe, animal study suggests." [Read more...]

The author of the Science Daily piece wrote, "no adverse health effects" were found in three feeding studies on pigs fed GM corn. Perhaps the author should have read the studies, instead of taking dictation from Monsanto. Come to think of it, so should the government.

This reminds me of the scene in the Matrix Movie when the group cant believe there are that many Sentinels boring a hole to Zion.
And Morpheus saids, that sounds like perfect logic for a Machine, 3 sentinels for 1 human. Or something like that....

Like the Machines in that movie, the Ruling Elite control the bulk of the available resources.

USDA greenlights useless GM corn

Former US Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman characterized the hype around GMOs. They were "going to solve the problems of the human race and feed the hungry and clothe the naked." That was during the Clinton Administration! We're still waiting.

Finally, Monsanto has rolled out something that doesn't just drink their poisonous herbicide or produce poisonous pesticides. The biotech industry finally has their long sought after poster child - a corn genetically engineered to survive better in drought conditions. Or does it?

In fact, Monsanto's hi-tech, uber-expensive corn only works in "moderate" drought conditions and doesn't even outperform the natural non-GMO drought-tolerant varieties. So after more then a decade in development, this much touted corn is a total failure. It gives nothing positive to farmers. And it exposes consumers to a long list of possible health dangers - which are not evaluated by Monsanto or the government. So what did our US Department of Agriculture do? They approved it!

Is glyphosate the elephant in the room?

This is not looking good.

Glyphosate may be the most important factor in the U.S. health crisis related to obesity, autism, Alzheimer’s disease and infant mortality. -- source

They have been doing a soft kill on us to make the hot purge easier. We are being tenderized before the steak is put on the grill. Its all been war tactics preparing for this coming time.

They are deliberately poisoning us. If we do nothing, we will inevitably become weaker, sicker, and less capable of resisting. The window of opportunity to resist and fight back is closing.

So what do we do?

What if we updated the Constitution online, creating a new form of government to compete with the old one? We could get rid of representatives, as we have the means to represent ourselves directly now via the Internet. We could probably get rid of the President and Vice-President, too. They serve no real purpose. The improvements we could make are mind-boggling, limited only by our imagination. No Federal Reserve, no elections, no secrecy, direct decision making from the people who are willing to participate, etc. Government could be naturally limited by requiring high consensus democracy (75% or greater agreement). The higher the consensus requirement, the less unneeded government we will have. The problem of sociopaths is mitigated, as sociopaths will have no more influence than their proportion in the population participating in democratic consensus.

If you ask me, I think the survival of humanity is dependent on doing a redesign, and soon.

Your idea is like Moses parting the Red sea. AK proposed the same thing with using technology to bypass our entire electoral system. Use the NSA infrastructure to connect everyone to online activism. Real time decision making. It would be the opposite system of today, where sociopaths use the bureaucracy to peddle and leech off the process. We have to get a collectivism that agrees the first thing govt should do is ensure clean Air, water and food. Establish by decree fee solar power for every individual. A giant manufacturing infrastructure to set our entire country up with Solar energy. Imagine how many jobs that would create? All fossil fuels and nuclear energy eliminated. Self sufficient manufacturing reducing imports. Food, resources, clothing, cars, and infrastructure produced within. Rebuild all the major metropolises. Use the current military to help support the transition. Jobs everywhere paying living wages.
