It is a process for amplifying the quantity of a specific DNA sequence, which couldn't do any good in the case of COVID-19, since no particular DNA sequence was ever identified or isolated for COVID-19. An artificially created computer model of COVID-19 DNA was claimed to be the template for PCR testing of COVID-19, but that too is a deceptive statement that won't work either. Kary Mullis himself said you can find just about any sequence you are looking for in a human DNA sample, making the PCR test worthless as a medical tool to identify specific viral infections.
