"Disqualify" does not imply murder. People of empathy are typically not murderers, as empathy is a deterrent against murdering others. Sociopaths, on the other hand, will murder without any regret, responsibility, shame, or remorse. They have no empathy to deter them.
A disqualification could be as simple as denying confirmed sociopaths a license to hold public office, just as anyone with poor vision is denied a license to drive a vehicle on public roads.
The problem comes when ruling sociopaths are faced with such a possibility. They will murder anyone necessary to maintain their grip on power and control. At that point, non-sociopaths will be forced to act in self-defense, which may require killing the sociopaths who are murdering others. Justice requires such a response, and it is not murder. It is self-defense.
The sociopaths have been murdering non-sociopaths clandestinely for a long time now. Non-sociopaths have yet to defend themselves, as they fail to recognize the threat. They react exactly as described in Martin Niemoller's
poem. The sociopaths know this, and they count on that behavior. It is how they got away with the 3000+ murders on 9/11. Where will the tipping point be when non-sociopaths will defend themselves? 100,000 murders? 1 million? 100 million? 1 billion? The sociopaths have
hinted that 6.5 billion of us need to be "eliminated". Classified biological weapons have advanced to the point where the sociopaths have the means to eliminate 95% of the human population without ever being caught. They design in plausible deniability. It will appear to be a natural event, but it will be a carefully constructed illusion. Self-defense by the non-sociopaths will be subverted by the deliberate design of the sociopaths. By our hesitation, we ensure our demise.
Is there a collective consciousness? Could it be that individual consciousness is just a subset of the collective consciousness? Is there a paradox when the Golden Rule is followed, and the needs of the many are basically a conglomerate of the needs of the one?
