Even if 1.1 million people are somehow able to evacuate south within 24 hours, how will they live - - with no water, no electricity, no fuel?

But of course, that presupposes that it is even possible to evacuate 1.1 million people within 24 hours, in an active war zone subject to constant bombardment from heavy artillery and military aircraft.

In reality, such an evacuation is completely impossible under the prevailing, unrelenting, military assault.

US army commanders are in an underground base in Tel Aviv to coordinate Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip, an Iranian general said.

According to the Tasnim news agency, Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, a major Iranian army command center, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid the cited Iranian intelligence data indicating that "the commanders of the CENTCOM (the United States Central Command) as well as the US Army and Navy commanders are in an underground base in Tel Aviv in the company of Israeli commanders to supervise and direct" Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip. -- source

The Director of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in New York, Craig Mokheiber, submitted his resignation on Tuesday in protest of the UN bodies’ handling of the situation in Gaza Strip.
