Frightening stuff and it fits the behavior of our leaders as if the earth is expendable. Perhaps they already have that planned?

Re: Sociopaths -- who knew?
Personal interactions with a sociopath can be especially disturbing for an "empath", meaning someone with a well developed sense of empathy. This is because most empaths do not know about sociopaths and do not recognize them. Because empaths typically believe everyone has empathy, they simply don't recognize that some humans have none. And this is precisely where the sociopath can do the most damage, because all sociopaths know about empaths and know how to recognize them. This knowledge is power, and we all know how sociopaths are attracted to power, and how they use that power to control others. This means sociopaths often target empaths. This article shows how it happens.
Quote:
Often empaths are targeted by sociopaths because they pose the greatest threat. The empath is usually the first to detect that something is not right and express what s/he senses. As a consequence, the empath is both the sociopath’s number one foe and a source of attraction; the empath’s responses and actions provide excellent entertainment for sociopaths, who use and abuse people for sport.
The world of the empath is not for the faint-hearted.
June 3, 2016 addendum: The article referenced above has been censored. Another copy can be found here. In case it too disappears, the original article appeared in Addiction Today on October 30, 2013 and was authored by Dr. Jane and Tim McGregor. The article title is "Empathic people are natural targets for sociopaths - protect yourself".
The censorship occurring on the subject of sociopathy is astounding, and well disguised.

Re: Sociopaths -- who knew?
Compare the psychology of a sociopath to the psychology of a non-sociopath. Sociopaths are driven to "win the game", to have control over others, to be in a position of power. This gives them great satisfaction. What about non-sociopaths? What gives them satisfaction?
Anecdotal information, however, suggests that life satisfaction can be distilled down to four fundamental zones that define and provide meaning to our lives. Namely, Work, Play, Love, and Pray. For most people, these are the pillars on which rest a stable, balanced and fulfilling life.
Pray does not necessarily mean literally praying to God or a higher power. Nor does it have to involve any organized religious practice at all. Rather, in this context, “pray” denotes a deep seated sense of connectedness to the universe, an existence bigger than ourselves, or a spiritual awareness of oneself as more than a purely physical entity.
I highlighted the "pray" aspect as it is closely tied to the feeling of empathy, the sense of connectedness, and the shared feelings. On examination, all four rely on empathy for maximum effect. It's the sharing of the work, and the play, and the love that creates the mutual happiness non-sociopaths find so satisfying.
As for sociopaths, it is the "prey" aspect that is closely tied to the act of domination, control, and power. It is central to their perspective on work, play, and love as well. Without empathy, predation is the source of satisfaction for sociopaths.

Re: Sociopaths -- who knew?
If you think you have a gift for discerning sociopaths, or a certainty about who is one and who isn't, you may want to watch the video below.
Things are not as simple as we tend to believe. Humans oversimplify. We all do it. We have to, because our limited brains cannot deal with the complexity, plus our access to accurate information is extremely limited. Judgement, like discernment and certainty, is on a sliding scale, with only generalized probabilities temporarily anchoring its position on that sliding scale. Nevertheless, there are times when we have to make a judgement call -- with limited brains, incomplete information, and oversimplified rationale.
It gets worse. Sociopaths usually know all of that, and they use it to their advantage. It's how they play the game.

Sociopaths rule.
Hidden in plain sight.
Deception and manipulation.
False-flag attack.
Divide and conquer.
Money ruins everything.
Brainwashing is everywhere.
Sociopaths are molding us in their own image.
Where are we going with all this? Here's a hint:
And you thought "Likes" were legitimate? It felt good though, didn't it.
Comfort trumps truth every time. They know that.
Welcome to the Matrix.

We are being sociopathicly terra formed to stay in an animal state. We are being manipulated, coerced, and shoved to stay in a primitive state.

Yes, although I would describe that state not so much as primitive, but sociopathic. It is, however, likely that the sociopathic mindset is a more primitive, less evolutionarily evolved state. Richard Dawkins argued as much in "The Selfish Gene" in the chapter on game theory and competition / cooperation (Chapter 12, I think). You could also argue that the sociopathic mindset is evolutionarily more primitive just by observing how it is leading us to the brink of our own destruction, which is certainly not a life-affirming adaptation.
I've often claimed that sociopaths are molding humanity to be like them, playing God so to speak -- "creating Man in His image". That's what all the brainwashing is for, to make us forget who we really are, and change us into functioning copies of our sociopathic masters.
Quote:
Our oligarchic rulers have successfully convinced us that their values are ours – most of us seem to believe that humans are inherently worthless and only serve as means to achieving one’s personal objectives. In this kind of culture, everything and everyone – including friends and family – become disposable commodities to be used, exploited, and worn out for self-interest and shortsighted ego-desires. -- source
So what are those copies like? Ruthless, irresponsible, shameless, conniving, game-playing, uncaring, cold, calculating, selfish, lying, heartless, deceiving manipulators of men and women.
Where does evil come from? Sociopaths.

Re: Sociopaths -- who knew?
Sociopaths, despite their cunning and years of practice, sometimes slip up and expose their true nature. Here is an example that synchronistically appeared on my computer screen today.
Quote:
It's the golden rule and the core of all communications etiquette: If you can't say something nice, don't say anything. On Tuesday, Kelly Blazek, who runs the Cleveland Job Bank, learned that lesson the hard way when her email smackdown of a young job seeker named Diana Mekota, who contacted her through LinkedIn, went viral. "Love the sense of entitlement in your generation. And therefore I enjoy denying your invite," read Blazek's poison pen letter, in part. "You're welcome for your humility lesson of the year. Don't ever reach out to senior practitioners again and assume their carefully curated list of connections is available to you, just because you want to build your network." -- source
It's also quite interesting how the mainstream media (and Yahoo is definitely mainstream media now) spins this story. There is no mention of sociopathy. Instead, this incident is painted as an etiquette breach. It is the sociopaths' way of telling us peons, when the sociopaths accidentally do reveal their true colors, to "forgive and forget", "move on", and "let it go". Holding sociopaths accountable for their evil is obviously not in the sociopaths' best interest. They want to ensure that we agree with them, and that's why they spin the incident as they do. It's subtle mind control.
