The United States is moving to suspend Russia's from the United Nations Human Rights Council amid allegations that Russian troops have committed a massacre in the town of Bucha, which is on the outskirts of Kiev. Ukraine has alleged that 410 bodies have been found, many which had their hands tied behind their backs and were shot execution-style.

America's ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield confirmed on a Monday statement that she'll work with allies to suspend Russia from the body. "In close coordination with Ukraine, European countries and other partners at the UN, we are going to seek Russia’s suspension from the UN Human Rights Council," she said. -- source

Biden said of Putin on Monday, "This guy is brutal and what’s happening in Bucha is outrageous and everyone has seen it." He told reporters, "I think it is a war crime." He called for a war crimes trial while saying "we have to gather all the details" to be able to have one, AFP reports.

Biden's comments were the first he's issued specifically on Bucha, where Ukraine officials are alleging that Russian troops "massacred" over 400 civilians, which they say in many instances had hands tied behind their backs and were shot at close range execution-style.

"He should be held accountable," Biden said further of Putin, suggesting the US will seek a formal charge for Putin at the International Criminal Court (ICC). -- source

The term “domestic terrorism,” however, has seen its definition reoriented under President Joe Biden, with a recent memo from the Department of Homeland Security claiming individuals spreading “conspiracy theories” and “disinformation” pose a significant threat to American national security.

The document, released February, singled out individuals sharing election fraud and COVID-19-related stories.

On June 23, 2022, an organization funded by the US Congress, the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe – also known as the Helsinki Commission – held a virtual conference calling for the “decolonizing of Russia.”

This begs the question of why they are not seeking the decolonization of the United States. After all, the country was literally founded by the successors of white colonists who had crossed an ocean to violently seize the territory from its indigenous people.

Meanwhile, since WWII, the US has created an empire on a scope hitherto unknown in the world. It is now estimated that “the United States has approximately 800 formal military bases in 80 countries, a number that could exceed 1,000 if you count troops stationed at embassies and missions and so-called ‘lily-pond’ bases, with some 138,000 soldiers stationed around the globe.” No other country in the world has, or ever has had, such a military reach. Indeed, the relatively few other countries that have military bases abroad have a combined number of bases totalling not even one-tenth the number of US bases.

In short, the US government and its compliant NGOs have no business talking about “decolonizing” anyone before they get down to the business of decolonizing their own lands. -- source

A regional war involving Taiwan as a proxy for conflict between the US and China would probably progress much like the war in Ukraine – Lots of big talk and propaganda in the media about how China is being crushed economically and militarily. But, in the end China sits right across the water from Taiwan, just as Russia sits right across the border from the Donbass. Logistically, they have the advantage and they have the time. Wearing the west down financially and through attrition would be their strategy and it would likely succeed given the mental weakness within the White House and among the current military brass.

This is not to say China is justified. Not in the slightest. China is one of the most Orwellian nightmare states on the planet and their obsession with Taiwan is a product of communist zealotry rather than any sort of logic or reason. This doesn't change the fact that they have the strategic advantage if they manage to lure the US into a quagmire across the pacific, and Japan's ability to help defend Taiwan is questionable. -- source

If the US designates Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, it would represent “a point of no return” in relations between the two countries, and Washington is aware of that, Moscow has explained.

There are only three state sponsors of terrorism: the United States (which created al-Qaeda), Israel (which trains several militias), and Saudi Arabia (which finances most of the terrorist militias). Russia, on the other hand, is fighting them. That is why the real state sponsors of terrorism want to call Russia a state sponsor of terrorism.

The US launched more airstrikes in Syria on Thursday, marking the third day of violence since President Biden ordered the bombing of facilities in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, on Tuesday night. A US official told CNN that Thursday’s strikes were launched from an AC-130 gunship and killed a number of "enemy combatants" in Deir ez-Zor. The official said the strike was in response to rocket attacks that hit US bases in eastern Syria on Wednesday, which injured three US troops.

CENTCOM said Tuesday’s strikes were in response to an August 15 drone attack on the US base at al-Tanf, which did not cause any casualties. The command claimed the strikes were done in “self-defense” and cited Article II of the Constitution. But the US cannot claim self-defense because its presence in Syria is an illegal occupation that is opposed by the Syrian government. -- source

The United States Government is pressing Japan’s Government to revise its 1947 U.S.-created Constitution so as to eliminate its clause (Article 9) that prevents Japan from invading any country.

The reason for this change is that Japan could play a decisive role assisting America’s unofficial war against America’s World War II ally China, which country America’s Government wants to turn into a vassal-nation like Japan long has been (ever since 1945). -- source
