I have great conversations with people in real life.
I'm a "listener". People tend to open up to me. I "engage" them. I give eye contact.
I have contact with people every day. Most are quite nice. They're open, honest and they talk to me.
I would say 10% are assholes and nasty. Unfortunately, it's those few who stand out.
I prefer to focus on all the good ones.
They talk to me. They express themselves.
Many seniors are very smart. They really do know what's happening.
