Could you please give another example of how these "contextual usages" as you described can be used in the English language?

It's easy to see how the misunderstandings swell out of control. You are both right.

A number of months ago, I suggested to Zook during a Skype call that we should include Andy. Zook was hesitant at that time, as he and Andy were often at odds on the forum (though Zook and I were, too). I tried a few times to encourage the idea, but there was no enthusiasm for it, so I dropped it.

Some time later, when things were getting more heated on the forum, Zook saw the need to take the conflict to a new arena and began calling for a recorded four-way conversation (to include Magamud). I was still fine with the idea, though it was fairly clear that Zook was now in "payback" mode and expected the calls to provide him with the opportunity to crush his opponents into atomic sized particles. That opportunity to crush his opponents had also existed on the forum, and had not materialized, so I didn't see the advantage to Zook, but I could understand it from an emotional point of view. For this new effort, unrelated problems popped up that stymied our efforts to schedule such a call, so it never quite materialized.

Now we are at the point where we are all liars, though no one is really lying. It reminds me very much of the story I recommended before in this post, about some blind men describing an elephant.

Zook is redirecting you guys to follow R rated skype chats? Missed invites? Zook has slandered more people on this board then a foul mouthed comic. Andy's entire reputation is in shambles because of a missed invite or not? WTF is this Bullshite drama? Zook slanders people because he thinks hes smarter then everyone else? He knows the 5th column? Andy and Chico got banned from Nexus because they questioned its integrity. Zook tried to cover it up like a weasel trying to bury its gold. Universal Spectrum is a private club and Zook is saying this is transparency and liberty? Hes trying to project sheeple ignorance if you post Chavez, wikileaks etc.. I say your post is a good one, and full of valid observations.

Based on the old polling rules, which are posted here, we need at least 75% consensus and a minimum of 10 votes to suspend Zook for a week. I don't think we have 10 members paying attention.

However, based on the newer rules implemented to resist GW-style wrecking crews, we have four members with voting privileges based on seniority and number of posts -- Chico, Andy, Mags, and Zook. A 75% majority, meaning three out of four, is sufficient to suspend a forum member. Conceivably, it is possible to suspend any member, including any one of us, with a 3 to 1 vote.

I was under the mistaken impression that we needed 80% consensus, but that was a result of needing 8 out of 10 votes using the old polling rules to reach a 75% consensus! I apologize for my mistake which caused me to believe our hands were tied, when in fact they are not.

I will put together a poll for the four voting members to decide if Zook should be suspended. For a second suspension, the term is one week.

UncleZook has since removed his contact details from my Skype account, so I guess he doesn't what that group chat after all! :lol:
