Thanks guys there is work to be done. My teenager made me proud, he is doing a report on SOPA and trying to get his friends to realize how important this fight is for the future of freedom on the net.

I was (and am) a member at Avalon and Nexus , but
hope I have disquised my avatar name properly to
ensure it cannot be recognized , also for a much
needed fresh start , without all the old forum
baggage ( or was it garbage ..).

Anyway , nice to be here .
Am generaly on sort of a holiday from virtual forums,
but this looks like a promising place , and nice to see
some familiar , missed , voices and faces
and a familiar direct approach.
Well done .

I know what you mean by that. I too was sorely disappointed by Avalon, Atticus1, and Nexus, despite having such hope and enthusiasm initially for the promise they offered. In each case, the forum was not the truth-seeking ideal it was painted to be, but a tool to deceive and manipulate. Truth was the last thing they wanted.

I have been reading some of the blogs of Gypsy Woman of late, and I see in her another person that was looking for truth and honesty in the alternative community, but who, like many of us, found quite the opposite. There has to be a forum for real truth-seekers. I'm hoping that United People will become that forum, and that it will not fall victim to the petty human weaknesses that are so typically used to divide us.
