At the end of the day we are all intelligent people and just by reading each others posts we get to know who is who. Don't try to think too hard about it, just accept that we're here to evolve (or dissolve!) and behave like human beings. Best regards.

In light of things that have transpired it is understandable why people wish to remain anonymous - by PMing you their info or old avatar names, they are no longer anonymous. If all that info did get Stolen from PA then avatar names can lead to real names, addresses and details.
I think it is courtesy to earn someone's trust rather than demand it.
