I just added in the missing self portrait (at the end). It's always interesting to see who is behind the camera. For that picture, I placed the camera on a picnic table in the park and used the self-timer to allow me to get in the scene. Funny, there's another cyclist in the background (can you find him?). I must have seen six or so bike riders out today, including a couple with a child in a tow cart. That was unusual. |

Yep.....I see some smile there. Fascinating and great view of your journey. I really enjoyed it. Thanks. I agree about those bike lanes...you have to have some sort of death wish to ride in them. Dave - you really call a spade a spade (LOL). |

I'm actually not the sourpuss my unflattering avatar picture suggests. On the contrary, I'm often smiling and laughing. But I am serious when problem-solving, and that was my first attempt at using the self-timer on this particular camera, so I was studying it carefully to see if it was going to work. Most likely I smiled after I heard the camera "click". In bright light, the camera LCD screen is unreadable, and the text is so small I usually need reading glasses to read it, so that's why I was looking on rather seriously. Operating cameras is usually not so challenging, but the new ones are like a computer with only a two inch screen! |

That's great, you surpassed my abilities when you worked out the timer on your camera... I love a good laugh and it doesn't take much with me. Although I'm finding humour doesn't always translate well when written. Warm wishes... Lee |

Hopefully, this is just the start. I created this "Members" area in the "Welcome" forum with the idea that other members might also want to share a slice of their world. I did mine as a simple web page. If anyone else wants to do a "web page" on our server, send me a PM and we'll figure out the procedural details. |

ITS JUST A RIDE - Here is a video of a bike ride around my town Byron Bay. You are most welcomed to attend. Maybe you could start a bike ride like this in your home town as this is a world wide event. Enjoy and have a laugh. |

Bike Riding in Byron This is the ride to my house. The creek is red because it is a tea tree lake. |

Pretty! All that green looks so attractive, given that we are still in winter and in drought conditions here in Colorado. |
