Post Re: Seeds of Freedom
The arrogance of man is on display with our idiotic attempts at genetic manipulation. We know almost nothing about how life really works, yet we think we can improve it! It is literally an insane notion. What has taken billions of years of evolution (or the infinite mind of God, if you prefer) to create, we think we can do better, and we can't even maintain our own environment!

Quote:
Les forêts précèdent les peuples, les déserts les suivent. -- François René de Chateaubriand

Translation: Forests precede the people, deserts follow them.

While I was looking up that quote, I found another.

Quote:
Les institutions passent par trois périodes : celle des services, celle des privilèges, celle des abus. -- François René de Chateaubriand

Translation: Institutions pass through three stages: that of service, that of privilege, and that of abuse.

It's clear which stage our institutions are in.

According to the criminals running the Food and Drug Administration, there is no nutritional difference between genetically modified foods and traditional foods.

This is a Big Lie.

Here's an article that exposes that lie.

Quote:
Look at the levels of Formaldehyde and Glyphosate IN the corn! The EPA standards for Glyphosate in water in America is .7ppm. In Europe it is .2 ppm. Tests showed organ damage to animals at .1ppm of Glyphosate in water. This corn has 13 ppm!

In another study that Dr. Huber reported, .97 ppm of formaldehyde showed to be toxic in ingestion to animals. This corn has 200X that! That is why the animals , given a choice will not eat it at all, they can smell the formaldehyde!

GMO is infecting the natural environment. How can we be so shortsighted. Do we have nothing to lose? Its very bizarre behavior. Its the carrot and the stick. The marionette. It really is a puppet on a string. Man cannot think on the cause of his grief. But he learns to live with his idiocy by healing the top of the open infected sore. A disjoint to allow for a vicious circle. A perfect zero point energy of sadism and masochism to propel each other into infinity. One hand knows not what the other does. And the corruption is deep. Deep in mens hearts. You can hear it from their lips when they speak in contradictions all the time. A chaotic planet. Shame...

Whole Foods Market GMO Labeling Announcement Reverberating Through Industry

I am at Expo West in Anaheim, the annual pilgrimage of more than 60,000 members of the natural foods industry. In a surprise announcement yesterday, Whole Foods Market said that by 2018 they would require labeling of genetically engineered foods sold in their store for products that were not either organic or verified by the Non-GMO Project. The statement was met with huge cheers from the filled auditorium, and soon resounded around the world with coverage in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CBS News, etc. Read more...

They are dragging their feet just a little, I would say. A good idea like this doesn't need five years to implement.

Salmon Confidential—How a Canadian Government Cover-Up Threatens Your Health, and the Entire Ecosystem

Many environmental experts have warned about the unsustainability of fish farms for a decade now, and we have documented those objections in many previous articles. Unfortunately nothing has yet been done to improve the system.

As usual, government agencies and environmental organizations around the world turned a blind eye to what was predicted to become an absolute disaster, and now the ramifications can be seen across the globe, including in British Columbia, Canada.

Salmon Confidential is a fascinating documentary that draws back the curtain to reveal how the Canadian government is covering up the cause behind British Columbia’s rapidly dwindling wild salmon population. A summary of the film reads:

“When biologist Alexandra Morton discovers BC’s wild salmon are testing positive for dangerous European salmon viruses associated with salmon farming worldwide, a chain of events is set off by government to suppress the findings.

Tracking viruses, Morton moves from courtrooms, into British Columbia’s most remote rivers, Vancouver grocery stores and sushi restaurants.

The film documents Morton’s journey as she attempts to overcome government and industry roadblocks thrown in her path and works to bring critical information to the public in time to save BC’s wild salmon.”

Humans keep thinking they can do better than Nature, and almost every time it is a complete disaster. Either we will destroy our own world, or we will destroy ourselves. Same result.

Monsanto now owns the infamous Blackwater. What does that tell you about Monsanto and their goodwill towards men?

GE Trees May Be Even More Damaging to the Environment than GE Foods

Genetic engineering (GE) of our food supply amounts to a massive science experiment being performed on mankind, without consent or full disclosure. Although the biotech industry continues to claim GE products are safe, the truth is that no one knows what the long-term effects will be, because no one has done the necessary studies.

Creating GE trees is utter insanity!

It was widely recognized 50 years ago that nuclear war could potentially destroy the ecosystems of the world. Genetic engineering has the potential to be even worse.
