Post What would Jesus be like today?
If Jesus the teacher, the human being a few degrees wiser than most of us, were to show up today, would we recognize him? What would he be like? How would he act? What would his profession be? How would he come across? What would he talk about? Would we believe what he tells us? Would we kill him? Will we ever learn?

I had these thoughts while listening to Alex Collier in the 9-part video below. What if he were the equivalent of Jesus? I was 8 minutes into part 3 when the idea hit me. Is the way I perceive Alex the same as the way some people 2000 years ago might have perceived Jesus? There is wisdom in his words, and knowledge beyond my own. Or am I being conned? Were people 2000 years ago being conned? Has the history of what happened 2000 years ago been changed into a con? When our current events become history, will they be changed into a con?

The more I look at things and read between the lines, I think Collier and his kind are here to occupy the masses with decanters of synthetic hope. Not the natural hope that most of us have vast inner reserves of ... but synthetic hope, e.g. in the template of Viagra (given to bodies that are past their performance prime).

New Age mind medicine to boost failing intellectual processes , as it were.

Good questions chic!
And unfortunately there is no easy answers. Not sure if people can understand this, but I believe it has to do with the amount of risk you invested in exploring yourself, throughout your lifetime. I have been exploring the fringes of mind and matter for some decades now and are bearing the fruits of my investments so to speak. For some people it is quite something different, in just trying to separate themselves from the earthly lies. They are anthropomorphic and use science, their senses to define truth and to most of them anything different would be ridiculous.

Even if Jesus did miracles they could be lies done by the Fallen Angels and hope, love could be used for nefarious means. It will be somewhere in the middle of all things.
Follow the morality, timing and the Gospel of JC and to who he points too.

And if I may be so bold, our beings are trying to be born into consciousness. And when a baby is born it rejuvenates the heart of the family. This is the center of all things....

Godspeed......

It is good to question everything, Zook.

When I look at the surrounding context of Alex Collier the person, and the difficult history that he has behind him, as well as the broader context of the UFO phenomena and the whistleblowers that sometimes pay the ultimate price simply for speaking out, I find it hard to come to the same conclusion as you. There is something happening here, something big enough and important enough to be hidden by those happy parasites intent on maintaining their parade. Yes, human history is rife with synthetic hope, and we need to be cognizant of our tendency to fall into this trap, but we must also recognize that not everything is a trap.

Collier's words ring so true, with such sincerity behind them, that it is not unusual to be suspicious. After all, the best con-artists use the same modus operandi.

I do not dismiss the possibility that Jesus may be entirely fictional, the result of evolving stories and beliefs from earlier times. I could just as well cite Buddha or Confucius or some other respected sage that was different enough to be noticed. As Alex said near the end of his lecture, someone a step ahead of the rest of us is a genius, and someone two steps ahead is a crackpot. Funny how that works....

Its the tale of the Black Sun or Lucifers light. Our sovereignty bore us into Eden, and our responsibility bore us into reality.
To understand this one must pass beyond anthropomorphism and understand how consciousness works. This is how the cosmic parasites work. So in once sense we have always been in cosmic space. They the Et's if you want to say that are not coming to us. We are coming to them......

This works in cycles like a harvest, or it can be a wheel for some.
A round and a round and a round.....

There is no rational concept of Eden outside allegory.

Proof of Eden is delivered by blind faith alone.

ps: Mind you, our origins may yet be sourced by a fantastic reality. But to claim that reality without evidence is the kind of thing that once prompted a little girl to write a child's letter to a fat man with an unkempt beard living at a zip code so barren that even polar bears have sense enough not to appropriate for personal living space ... an old man in a sanitized suit - spanked free of all the soot from all the chimneys by the business end of a broom wielded by the inexhaustible old Missus, no doubt.

ps2: Yes, Virginia, it's just a story. Nice on the ears ... to be shared with your little ones ... and their little ones after that ... .

Just one half of the equation, Chico. The other half is not to entertain anything until there is solid evidence of it. Standards of evidence vary, granted ... from tall tales to blind faith to "reasonable faith" to properly established facts. As it were. A lot of time and resources are wasted by admitting poor standards of evidence.

He's nice to listen to ... but so is Judy Garland.

Collier's association with bonafide shyster and Barnum_N_Bailey tent show turnip tosser, Billy Meier ... is somewhat problematic for me.

But I confess, I, too, want to believe him ... badly. It would be interesting to know that an alien force is out there which is benign if not necessarily benevolent.

Yup. Chaff. Wheat. Much work to sift them.

Problem with Collier is ... many of the sifters - underpaid and overworked - have decided to run off and join the circus.

This is no fantasy dear friends, and your proof will come either when you die or live, its up to you....
The world is out there, you just have to risk your belief systems and not be afraid of your childhood projections of fairy tales...
To each his own and as always...

Godspeed.....

Here I must strongly disagree. Most new knowledge is first entertained before there is solid evidence for it. As Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

Reality cares not for any problems we may have with it. Everything I know about Billy Meier comes from reading what other humans have written about him, or from listening to his interviews. I can say the same about Alex Collier. There is no way I can tell with any confidence what is true and what is not within that information. Humans are incredibly ignorant, and on top of that, they lie both deliberately and inadvertently, because they believe lies both deliberately and inadvertently. It happens to me, and it happens to you.

And I might add that guilt by association is very shaky ground. Alex is also associated with Kerry Cassidy, and I believe both you and I have had some association with Kerry and her associate Bill Ryan, who we might both point to as a bonafide shyster. Doesn't that make any statements arising from you or me somewhat problematic?

From my perspective, it's ALL a circus, and we are all part of that circus already. The problem is not that it is a circus, but that the directors mistreat the employees, the employees mistreat the animals, the animals mistreat the audience, and the directors laugh at everyone's misfortune while they bask in luxury.
