Post image problems
It appears Lee cannot see the images I post. I copy the Url link and put it between the img icon. I dont know what else to think of. Any theories?

Can you link me to the post in question so I can look at it myself?

Given that I can see the image, and the BBcode in the post is correct, I think we should suspect a faulty browser setting on your end, Lee, probably having to do with the display of jpeg images.

A simple test might be to try looking at that post using a different browser.

What browser are you using currently?

If using a different browser results in the same symptoms, the next suspect might be an errant setting in your forum options. I'll take a look and see if there might be anything in there that could cause the problem.

In the User Control Panel, go to "Board Preferences", "Edit Display Options". Make sure "Display images within posts" is set to Yes.

Thanks, it's set to yes. Will figure out the other option above...

Thanks Chico. Lucky for me I have just the guy floating around my house.....so I asked him to help me sort out my ipeg problem.

He interrupts "ipeg you say, .i..peg??" There's a fun note in his voice and a slightly quizzical expression on his face.
I responded, "Um, well,  I can't see ipeg pictures" (palms up in a questioning gesture).
He says, "Do you mean jpeg......Jaaayyy peg??"
I say, "Arrrh, yes, that's it... jpeg" (as i click my fingers and point at him in confirmation) - it's something to do with my browser thingy... "
He sighs, but smiles kindly..

And.... 'wha la' ......it's promptly sorted!
8-)
Anyway, I made him some home made cereal, it's delish so I might put the recipe on the forum.
Lee

I ran into a similar problem Friday night. I was helping a friend design a business card online. Her email address begins with a "j", but it looked like an "i" on the card. So we changed it to a capital "J" to avoid confusion.
