I haven't watched TV for eight years, and I can only watch a couple minutes of this before I am seriously reminded of why I gave up TV. The canned laughter irks me to no end. You see, I am too dumb to know when things are funny, so I need to be prompted to laugh at the appropriate moments. In reality, I didn't laugh at all in those two minutes, despite all the prompts. This is typical mind control TV, designed to dumb-down the viewer into a catatonic state of suggestibility and banal responsiveness. No offense intended towards you, Mr. ULY, or anyone else who likes this kind of entertainment. I just think there's a lot more going on here than people realize, and it is quite sinister. |
