He appears to be talking to a part of our minds that don't want to listen. He should keep his mind out of the gutter all the time and try to help his equals in finding enlightenment.
Or is his solution to just wipe all of our perceptions clean and believe in emptiness? So in that sense he needs the spiritual gutter to give his belief system creedance.
And in that context he is asking the question for others, when he should be asking it of himself.

There is a message and an order out there. Obliterating it to find a contrived peace is not the answer.

"Why don't you change?"

The answer, of course, is that I change all the time. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." If one of your goals is to improve the world by improving yourself, which is the one thing that you can most easily change in the world, then the response to Krishnamurti would have to be, "Way ahead of you."

Ah hell, it's all good.

Sometimes I take on the weight of the world -that's all.

I was making a comparison to Credo, Jiddhu and Bohm with the burden I sometimes feel for humanity (and did yesterday).

All I can do is take care of me and Otis, and as for humanity -well I will be here when they ask me for help.

Otherwise, they can play out the string however they will.....
