I agree, but there is a distinction to be made concerning the word "allowed". I don't believe we allowed it deliberately. Instead, I think we were deceived and manipulated into believing that we have a legitimate justice system, when in fact we do not. Just like we were deceived and manipulated into believing that we have a free press, when in fact we do not. Just like we were deceived and manipulated into believing that we have a democratic republic, when in fact we do not. Just like... ...well, you get the idea. The playbook of sociopaths is founded on "deceive and manipulate".
