Post How they fool us
Quote:
The Agendas Behind the bin Laden News Event
by Paul Craig Roberts

The US government’s bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered. Indeed, the new story put out on Tuesday by White House press secretary Jay Carney bears little resemblance to the original Sunday evening story. The fierce firefight did not occur. Osama bin Laden did not hide behind a woman. Indeed, bin Laden, Carney said, "was not armed."

The firefight story was instantly suspicious as not a single SEAL got a scratch, despite being up against al Qaeda, described by former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld as "the most dangerous, best-trained, vicious killers on the face of the earth."

Every original story detail has been changed. It wasn’t bin Laden’s wife who was murdered by the Navy SEALs, but the wife of an aide. It wasn’t bin Laden’s son, Khalid, who was murdered by the Navy SEALs, but son Hamza.

Carney blamed the changed story on "the fog of war." But there was no firefight, so where did the "fog of war" come from?

The White House has also had to abandon the story that President Obama and his national security team watched tensely as events unfolded in real time (despite the White House having released photos of the team watching tensely), with the operation conveyed into the White House by cameras on the SEALs helmets. If Obama was watching the event as it happened, he would have noticed, one would hope, that there was no firefight and, thus, would not have told the public that bin Laden was killed in a firefight. Another reason the story had to be abandoned is that if the event was captured on video, every news service in the world would be asking for the video, but if the event was orchestrated theater, there would be no video.

No explanation has been provided for why an unarmed bin Laden, in the absence of a firefight, was murdered by the SEALs with a shot to the head. For those who believe the government’s story that "we got bin Laden," the operation can only appear as the most botched operation in history. What kind of incompetence does it require to senselessly and needlessly kill the most valuable intelligence asset on the planet?

According to the US government, the terrorist movements of the world operated through bin Laden, "the mastermind." Thanks to a trigger-happy stupid SEAL, a bullet destroyed the most valuable terrorist information on the planet. Perhaps the SEAL was thinking that he could put a notch on his gun and brag for the rest of his life about being the macho tough guy who killed Osama bin Laden, the most dangerous man on the planet, who outwitted the US and its European and Israeli allies and inflicted humiliation on the "world’s only superpower" on 9/11.

When such a foundational story as the demise of bin Laden cannot last 48 hours without acknowledged "discrepancies" that require fundamental alternations to the story, there are grounds for suspicion in addition to the suspicions arising from the absence of a dead body, from the absence of any evidence that bin Laden was killed in the raid or that a raid even took place. The entire episode could just be another event like the August 4, 1964, Gulf of Tonkin event that never happened but succeeded in launching open warfare against North Vietnam at a huge cost to Americans and Vietnamese and enormous profits to the military/security complex.

There is no doubt that the US is sufficiently incompetent to have needlessly killed bin Laden instead of capturing him. But who can believe that the US would quickly dispose of the evidence that bin Laden had been terminated? The government’s story is not believable that the government dumped the proof of its success into the ocean, but has some photos that might be released, someday.

As one reader put it in an email to me: "What is really alarming is the increasingly arrogant sloppiness of these lies, as though the government has become so profoundly confident of their ability to deceive people that they make virtually no effort to even appear credible."

Governments have known from the beginning of time that they can always deceive citizens and subjects by playing the patriot card. "Remember the Maine," the "Gulf of Tonkin," "weapons of mass destruction," "the Reichstag fire" – the staged events and bogus evidence are endless. If Americans knew any history, they would not be so gullible.

The real question before us is: What agenda or agendas is the "death of bin Laden" designed to further?

There are many answers to this question. Many have noticed that Obama was facing re-election with poor approval ratings. Is anyone surprised that the New York Times/CBS Poll finds a strong rise in Obama’s poll numbers after the bin Laden raid? As the New York Times reported, "the glow of national pride" rose "above partisan politics, as support for the president rose significantly among both Republicans and independents. In all, 57 percent said they now approved of the president’s job performance, up from 46 percent."

In Washington-think, a 24% rise in approval rating justifies a staged event.

Another possibility is that Obama realized that the the budget deficit and the dollar’s rescue from collapse require the end of the expensive Afghan war and occupation and spillover war into Pakistan. As the purpose of the war was to get bin Laden, success in this objective allows the US to withdraw without loss of face, thus making it possible to reduce the US budget deficit by several hundred billion dollars annually – an easy way to have a major spending cut.

If this is the agenda, then more power to it. However, if this was Obama’s agenda, the military/security complex has quickly moved against it. CIA director Leon Panetta opened the door to false flag attacks to keep the war going by declaring that al Qaeda would avenge bin Laden’s killing. Secretary of State Clinton declared that success in killing bin Laden justified more war and more success. Homeland Security declared that the killing of bin Laden would motivate "homegrown violent extremists" into making terrorist attacks. "Homegrown violent extremists" is an undefined term, but this newly created bogyman seems to include environmentalists and war protesters. Like "suspect," the term will include anyone the government wants to pick up.

Various parts of the government quickly seized on the success in killing bin Laden to defend and advance their own agendas, such as torture. Americans were told that bin Laden was found as a result of information gleaned from torturing detainees held in Eastern European CIA secret prisons years ago.

This listing of possible agendas and add-on agendas is far from complete, but for those capable of skepticism and independent thought, it can serve as a starting point. The agendas behind the theater will reveal themselves as time goes on. All you have to do is to pay attention and to realize that most of what you hear from the mainstream media is designed to advance the agendas.

And the loser is...

He's BAD.

It takes an Iranian politician to do what no American politician would dare to do -- tell Americans the truth! Is Iran a great country, or what?!

Actually, if you have been following western news media coverage of Ahmadinejad, or government statements issued about him or his country, you will already have a well-formed opinion that this man is as crazy as a loon, a psychopath bent on nuking the planet, and a religious nut-job working overtime to prepare a gruesome death for all infidel Americans. You are probably chomping at the bit, just waiting for our gung-ho commander-in-chief to give the "Charge!" command so that our boys can swarm all over Iran and whoop his sorry ass!

If that describes how you feel about Ahmadinejad, all I can say is: You pathetic, brainwashed fool!

To those with a little more specialized knowledge, the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming that 9/11 was an "inside job" orchestrated by the U.S. government. A former Italian president already announced years ago that 9/11 was a joint American-Israeli intelligence operation, and the western media didn't even report it. Physicists have announced it, learned engineers have announced it, professional pilots have announced it, forensic scientists have announced it, demolition experts have announced it, official FEMA videographers have announced it, FBI employees have announced it, military personnel have announced it, even Ground Zero eyewitnesses have announced it, and none of them, NONE OF THEM, were ever mentioned in the mainstream media, much less plastered all over the headlines. Only Ahmadinejad has the distinction of making front page news with his 9/11 statements. Why?

To answer that question, you will have to go way back into the past and try to remember what your professor was droning on about in that boring class, Propaganda 101. What!? You didn't take Propaganda 101? Your university didn't even offer that class? And you call yourself educated?!

Hmm, come to think of it, my university didn't offer that class either (that's another blog, no doubt). Thank goodness, through some quirk of fate, I learned on my own, somewhat late in life, to turn off the TV, fire up the Internet, research everything I could, think for myself, question everything, and dismiss nothing without good reason. So the burden of answering that question for you apparently falls on me. As do, I can only imagine, the cross-hairs of some psychopathic assassin working for a secret government intelligence agency supported by my hard-earned tax dollars -- isn't that ironic.

Announcer: And the answer is ..... (drum roll) .... when we come back right after this commercial break!

"Stressed out? Exhausted? Tired of thinking? Imbecillium is a doctor-recommended, break-through medicine designed to bring you the calm, peaceful feeling you know you deserve. Ask your doctor about Imbecillium, the luminescent pill. You'll be glad you did. Fast voice: Side effects may include itchy skin, runny nose, headache, nausea, hyper-suggestivity, loss of appetite, bloody stools, sterility, convulsions, traumatic seizures, and stillness of the lungs or heart."

Announcer: We're back! And now the answer we have all been waiting for.... The envelope, please.... (Sound of paper being ripped.) "Ahmadinejad is being publicly discredited so that the real truth he announces will appear ridiculous to all duped Americans!" (Music playing, people applauding, confetti flying, everyone swarms the stage...)

Announcer: See you next week! Have a good night! (Roll credits.)

Moral: Discredit the man, and any truth he speaks is discredited.

Having you believe that you live in a chaotic, random system that was made from chance. Ha! Its totally the opposite. Were all micromanaged from the good and the bad. Luke 12:7 (King James Version)

7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

They fool us from the need of necessity. They hijack our instinctive good gesture, cultivate it, love it and nourish it from its bosom. I would work on imprinting it through, entertainment, soundbytes etc.. Its hard to find for our lack of sensitivity to the field. Field being consciousness. I would assume what comes from the Hive mind, do the opposite...

Post Re: How they fool us
I believe this is a key method for fooling us.

Info Pie

Image
The Info Pie

Americans like to believe they get complete and accurate information from the "public" mainstream news media. This belief is a complete and deliberate delusion.

Everyone knows that the mainstream news media is not "public" at all. It is privately owned, which means it is privately controlled, all the way down to the very information it delivers to you. The owners of the mainstream media, a small and cozy bunch, ultimately determine the information that the public will be allowed to digest. That control of information is enormous power concentrated in just a few hands.

Let's examine that information for a moment, shall we?

Judging from my own years of investigative research into particularly telling news events, I would estimate that only 20% of the information is reported truthfully to the public. Another 30% is presented as if it were true when, in fact, it is a deliberate lie. And the remaining 50% of the information pie? That information is simply withheld from the public. In other words, the general population never hears a "serious" word about it from the trusted mainstream media. In the public mind, that information simply does not exist. The information can even be readily available from "underground" sources, but because those sources lack the perceived credibility that the mainstream media has so carefully nurtured in the public mind, they are largely ignored or dismissed.

Why doesn't the credibility of the mainstream media simply crumble, given this deceptive 20-30-50 information model? Because the public can readily verify that the 20% portion of the information pie is indeed true. Whenever they bother to check into it, it turns out to be true 100% of the time. It doesn't take long for the public to decide that the mainstream media is completely trustworthy, and that they need not waste time checking on its accuracy.

But wait, what about the bigger 30% portion of the information pie, the part that is a lie? Surely, if the public tried to verify that information, the gig would be up! Unfortunately, no. You see, the public can't expose that information as being a pack of lies because the information they need to do that has been deliberately withheld from them. Yes, the 50% portion of the pie contains the vital information necessary to falsify everything in the 30% portion of the pie. Whenever the public bothers to check the information of the 30% portion, they are unable to show it is wrong, 100% of the time. It doesn't take long for the public to decide that the mainstream media must be completely trustworthy, and that they need not waste time checking on its accuracy.

By the way, this 20-30-50 information model was initially developed and perfected by big government. Now you can easily understand why so much information here in the United States is "classified" in the interests of "national security".

It's not "they" who are preventing us from uniting, but it's "us" who let "them" to preventing us from uniting. Maybe it's time to shift focus?

I agree that's an alternate way of looking at the problem, Skippy, but it is much less accurate to see the problem in that way. Imagine the victims of a con-artist reasoning like that. They could easily say "It's not 'he' that is fooling us, it's us that are allowing ourselves to be fooled." Would that be an accurate way for them to reason? Of course not, because when one is fooled, it is an action done to you without your conscious awareness. It is a deception, and the deceiver bears the brunt of the responsibility, not the victim.

Of course, that's not to say that we shouldn't re-examine our direction or our plans for United People. All ideas are welcome on the table.

It took me years of research to put the pieces of the puzzle together. This video does it in 30 minutes. I recognize every single piece.

Freedom of choice dictates, that no matter what they do, you should only concern yourself with you!

To do other wise is control, if you control another through your skill with the written word.......you still enslave them!

(This post I made at Nexus today seemed very relevant to this thread, so I'm re-posting it here.)

Quote:
I'm also interested on what we may be doing to feed this monster... to what extent do those sociopaths rely on people's own ignorance? how do people allow this disease to self replicate?

Sociopath's don't rely on people's ignorance, they impose it. And this disease doesn't self-replicate, sociopaths construct it.

First, it is not people's ignorance that betrays them. People are not wired to be ignorant. They are wired to be inquisitive, to discover, and to learn. The controlling sociopaths take advantage of that characteristic by using propaganda to manipulate the masses. When 9/11 occurred, did people turn away and say they were not interested? Did they want to remain ignorant? NO! They were desperate for information, desperate to learn what happened and why. And the controlling sociopaths had the carefully prepared (but deceptive) explanations ready and waiting. That propaganda is precisely how ignorance is imposed on the people.

If you think about, the people are betrayed not by their ignorance, but by their trust. People with empathy understand and value trust. Trust is a natural derivative of empathy, like shame, responsibility, honesty, and integrity. Sociopaths, lacking empathy, also lack all of these derived characteristics. They do not feel shame, they do not take responsibility, they are dishonest, they have no integrity, and they do not trust. Empathetic people do trust, and when they trust other empathetic people, both parties typically benefit in a WIN-WIN scenario. When empathetic people trust a sociopath however, the end result is almost always a LOSE-WIN scenario. Sociopaths see trust as something to take advantage of, to use for their own benefit at the expense of the one offering the trust.

Now you can begin to see how sociopaths construct this disease. Sociopaths take advantage of any trust offered to them, and since empathetic people outnumber sociopaths 100 to 1, there is no shortage of trust constantly being thrown at the sociopaths, as long as the sociopaths can pass themselves off as "normal" people! (Remember all the trust poured onto Charles/Atticus at Project Avalon?) That's where the chameleon-like deception that sociopaths are known for comes into play. Sociopaths become masters at emulating normal people because that guarantees them a seemingly inexhaustible supply of trust, which means nearly effortless "success" -- a constant supply of WIN-LOSE opportunities.

Think Bill Clinton, and you will get it.
