Again, this is your brainwashing directing your thoughts. When it comes to forums, you are used to a hierarchical structure of authority, with a personal perch near the top, and you would like to impose that paradigm on me and United People. Unfortunately for you, UP was set up to avoid that faulty model.


There is no official written charter, though there is a philosophical one based on the concepts of high-consensus democracy, the Golden Rule, empathy, equality, reason, and non-censorship. This is indeed a discussion forum, but whether it is respectable or not is a matter of personal opinion, and is also reflected by our personal actions here.


You'll have to show me the money before "professional" will stick, and you'll have to find the deliberate lies before "prevaricator" will stick. But you do have a natural knack for attacking the messenger, I'll grant you that.

I am guilty of letting Andy craft his own posts, just as I let you craft yours. I take the non-censorship issue seriously. I do everything within reason to avoid interfering with the legitimate liberties of others.
